To integrate the Smart Cartridge with the VanMoof app, activation by VanMoof support is required. You’ll need to provide the frame number and the cartridge’s serial number (MAC address) to VanMoof support, who will then generate a QR code. This QR code is essential for linking the cartridge with the app and utilizing all the bike’s features. However, the bike can still be used with the new cartridge without the app.
Please Note: We cannot guarantee that VanMoof support will authorize the new Smart Cartridge. This decision is solely at their discretion.
Returns and Parts:
According to current EU regulations, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product without giving any reason. The product must be returned unused and in its original packaging. Please note that this product is a specific replacement part. If the product is defective or does not meet the described specifications, you are entitled to a replacement or repair.
Important Note on Returns:
We document every shipment photographically before sending it. Returning defective items not purchased from us, or items that have been visibly damaged, altered (e.g., disassembled and fitted with other components), or tampered with, will be reported and excluded from refunds. In such cases, we reserve the right to deny any refund.
If you cannot return the goods in their original condition or only partially, you will be required to compensate us for the loss in value. You are only obligated to pay compensation for any loss in value if the deterioration or use of the goods goes beyond the necessary examination of their properties and functionality. “Examination of properties and functionality” means that you may only handle the goods as you would in a retail store.
Items that can be shipped as packages must be returned at your own expense and risk. Detailed return processes can be found on our website, and returns must be arranged with us in advance. You are responsible for the usual costs of the return shipment.
